crimes sounds (iOS app), my social computing proposal is now available in itunes:
Crime Sounds gives you a sense of crime around your current location by enhancing your hearing with a cinematic “soundscape”. All crimes within a range of 50 meters are used to generate a specific soundtrack. The volume of four different instruments is controlled by the category and the amount of crimes within the close range, all other crimes are muted. Crime Sounds accesses all crime data published by the UK Police forces for England and Wales.
Headphones recommended.

VVVV.js is a Javascript port of VVVV’s “runtime parts”, which enables your web browser to run VVVV files (or VVVV XML Code) on the client side.
See 1000 cars jumping together as one big swarm in trackmania (race game). Nice visualization of the “space of possibility” in this game. Via lecture of Eric Rodenbeck at see#4 conference.
